Daisies!

Okay, this post has been a week coming but I finally took the time to do it. I need to post pics from the picnic as well, but another night.

Every year we go out into the field behind our house and play in and take pictures in all of the daisies that come up early each summer. They are incredibly beautiful. We have done it now 3 years in a row with Makenna and this was Kya's first year. I think we got some great shots! Enjoy!!!

Makenna, First year (18 months old)

Makenna, 2nd year (2 1/2 yrs old)

And, now the pictures from this year. And, Kya happens to be wearing the same shirt that Makenna was wearing her first year--awwwww! So special! Maybe next year we will actually plan ahead and my kids won't be wearing play clothes for the first time! Oh well, they're so cute you don't notice right?!?!?!?!?

Kari it was a special moment to meet you and your family in person. It was fun to have both of our Maken(n)a's together. I hope we can see each other more often.

The pictures, as always, are fantastic. How neat that Kya and Makenna wore the same shirt for such a flowery tradition.

You are inspiring me toward a better camera.

Wow--amazing photos of some amazing girls. What kind of camera do you have? We live on the West Coast and I have never seen a field like that...makes me want to go to Wisconson, just for a photo shoot!

I'm so bummed we missed you!

The girls are too darn cute!

I just know Emma and Makenna would totally hit it off!

Oh, and us too!

Wow, what phenomenal pics! you are a talented photographer - although I'm sure the too cute for words subjects made it easy. What a great family tradition.

Loved seeing you at the picnic - maybe next year we can talk more!
