Scary stuff

Sorry for the silence. Things have been a little off this past week. The girls went to the International Adoption Clinic at the U of M for our annual appointment. We have chosen to take them once a year, because our local pediatrician just isn't as familiar with some of the issues that we face. During that appointment we mentioned a couple of concerns about Kya and the doctor confirmed that there were some concerns that we need to address. And, one of them is very, very, scary to a momma who isn't used to taking her kiddos to medical procedures. We aren't quite ready to go into detail until we find out what, if anything, is going on. Please just keep us in your thoughts.

My sweet girl has already had a rough road, so I am praying that nothing big is going on. I love, love, love this crazy little girl.

You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry that she has to go through this. Poor thing. It sounds like you have good Dr's whom you trust, so she will be in good hands.
Keep us updated. Solomon has been through some scary things too. It is not easy for them and us. Prayers for your family.

Of course, we'll definitely keep you and your little Kya in our thoughts. Having been there, I know this is a terrifying time. I wish I had some words of encouragement, but do know that every day moves you closer to being able to give Kya every thing she needs to live her life to the fullest. Take comfort in that.

If anyone can be her best advocate it is you. We at our house hope for the best for her. I'm glad you have an IAC accessible to you who can provide the best course of action should it come to that.

Your girl is really growing up beautifully Kari.

Oh, you're scaring me, too! Hope it isn't anything seriously serious. I'll be praying in your behalf, as well. The girls are gorgeous! :)
